When do I pay for my build?
We operate on a transparent, staged progress payment structure throughout the journey. Payments are tied directly to clear build milestones, ensuring your funds are protected and aligned with actual progress:
-
1A. Initial Deposit (10%): Secures your build slot, finalises your floor plan/specifications, and allows us to order specific materials.
-
1B. Construction Commences (20%): Payable once the floor joists, strand board flooring, wall framing, and roof rafters are fully erected in our yard.
-
2A. Roof & Cladding / Enclosed Shell (30%): Due when the Colorsteel roofing, exterior cladding, and double-glazed joinery are installed, making the building fully weather-tight.
-
2B. Linings & Pre-Wire Complete (20%): Payable upon completion of insulation (ceiling, walls, and underfloor), electrical/plumbing pre-wire, and Gib lining/stopping.
-
3. Practical Completion / Pre-Dispatch (15%): Due after final internal fit-out (kitchen, bathroom, paint, flooring, heat pump) and prior to the house leaving our yard.
-
4. Final Handover & Sign-Off (5%): Payable once the practical completion handover certificate is signed.
Can I get bank financing for a transportable home?
Yes. While traditional mortgage processes can vary for off-site builds, major banks regularly fund transportable homes under specific progress-payment or turn-key lending structures. We provide a complete fixed-price contract, detailed specification schedules, and yard inspection sign-offs to make your bank loan approval process as smooth as possible.
